Confrontiers Conference Policies
Refund requests for the conferences must be made in writing to email@example.com.
A 100% refund of the conference registration fees shall be given for cancellations received before 160 days of the conference dates (amount paid minus a $150 processing charge)
A 50% refund of the conference registration fees shall be given for cancellations received within 160-100 days of the event dates.
No refunds shall be made within 100 days of conference.
No refunds for the webinar registration participants as they have the option to transfer it to any other webinar or physical conference.
No refunds shall be made to individuals who attend a portion of the conference.
No refunds shall be made for cancellations due to inclement weather. Confrontiers Conferences reserves the right to cancel or reschedule event because of low enrolment, COVID 19, travel restrictions, lockdown or other circumstances. If Confrontiers Conferences must cancel the conference in its entirety due to circumstances beyond the control of it (including but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, failure of transportation, weather, accidents, fires, electrical failures, strikes, labor disputes, postal delays, explosions, and government orders or regulations), Confrontiers may refund the appropriate registration fees to conference registrants; no refunds shall be made for travel expenses related to the conference. Attendees who purchase non-refundable airline tickets do so at their own risk.
We are not responsible for the potential differences in the exchange rate. If payment has already been made, credit card disputes cannot be used to obtain a refund. In order to receive a refund, you have to follow the procedure described above.
If you find that you are unable to attend the Conference, you are welcome to send a colleague in your place. There is no fee to make this change.
Refunds in case of Emergency
If an attendee is unable to attend the Conference based on serious illness or death (of self or a family member), a partial refund (amount paid minus a $150 processing charge) may be granted. Requestors shall submit the request in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Program Chair(s) or the committee shall review the request to ensure it is in accordance with written policy. No refunds shall be granted for cancelled or missed flights and/or inclement weather.
Exhibitors are subject to the same refund and substitution policies above. They do not qualify for the emergency refund policy because an exhibiting organization can send a different representative if the original representative is unable to attend.
The Conference committee may issue press passes to representatives of news media outlets that Confrontiers solicits to attend its meeting and/or approves on a case-by-case basis.
